All these trains are connected –also by train– to attractive cities such as Perpignan, Foix, Toulouse, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, …
You can also combine them with other attractive trains like the Tren de Núria (Girona).
Train Jaune – From Villefranche du Conflent (UNESCO heritage) to Latour de Carol, where it connects to Toulouse-Paris lines and the regional train to Barcelona.
Although it was initially built to end up with the isolation of the Catalan high plateaus, the Yellow Train currently offers a unique experience that allows the passengers to discover Conflent, Cerdagne and the territory of the Parc Naturel Régional des Pyrénées Catalanes. From train station to train station, enjoy the beauty of Têt Valley, the mountain landscapes, the high plateaus of Cerdagne as well as a series of exceptional cultural sites and natural places that are ideal for hikers. A real wonder of nature!
Train Rouge – a trip to the past on a train that has been recovered for tourist uses by the villages of Agly Valley. Starting from Rivesaltes, you will be delighted by the landscapes of vineyards before entering the old border land sprinkled with medieval Cathar castles and watchtowers and finishing the journey in the heart of canyons, following the waters of the river Aude.
Thematic trips offered the whole year round (Christmas, Easter, Halloween)
Train of the Lakes – Train of La Pobla
Special trips for all public offered on Saturdays on board the “Historical Train” that allow you to revive how people would travel by train in the sixties and seventies and to visit the main natural and cultural attractions of the Pallars region.
Another option consists in roaming the train line between Lleida and La Pobla de Segur on board some modern panoramic carriages. From Lleida plains, go deep into the Pyrenees through some impressive canyons following the 4 lakes (reservoirs) of the journey. A trip you will find both comfortable and unforgettable.
