Crossing the National Park of the Pyrenees, from Lescun to Gavarnie

This 2-week immersion in the heart of the mountains, in an almost untouched nature where the presence of humans is only expressed by their agricultural and pastoral activities, will allow you to admire a variety of places such as Aspe Valley and Lescun Circus, the lakes of Ayous and the Pic du Midi d’Ossau, the wild granitic mountain range of Balaïtous, the lakes and waterfalls of Cauterets and Azun Valley, the glaciers of Vignemale, the amphitheatre-shaped permanent snow lines of the Cirque de Gavarnie, the immensity of Troumouse … Not forgetting the meetings with shepherds, chamois, marmots,vultures, bearded vultures, golden eagles, and colourful carpets of flowers!

This gorgeous route obtained the “Esprit parc national” eco-label in 2017 for its harmony with the character and values of the French national parks.
