Trekking through 70 Pyrenean villages in the footsteps of the writers Camilo José Cela and Josep Maria Espinàs
This route was inspired by the trek the writers Camilo José Cela and Josep Maria Espinàs did through the Pyrenees of Lleida region in 1956.
The route strides along the numerous of villages of the counties of Pallars Jussà, Pallars Sobirà, Val d’Aran and Alta Ribagorça.
Discover the Pyrenees in all their authenticity: local gastronomy, little museums, fantastic landscapes of Alt Pirineu Natural Park and Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park … There is no need to travel so far to find fascinating sceneries and cultures, actually!
Ramat de Camins can be done entirely or per sectioms. The most usual way is to hike one of the three following sections in one week:
Ramat de l’Est: from La Pobla de Segur to Àreu
Ramat del Nord: from Àreu to Salardú
Ramat de l’Oest: from Salardú to El Pont de Suert
