Come and discover the flocks of sheep and herds of cows, the shepherds and their mountain life in a remote valley that bursts with colours, magic and culture.
The tracks and paths of Àssua Valley and El Batlliu will take you to the past and show you the present of the Valley.
On the way, you will stop here and there to enjoy the wonderful panoramic views, visit a small museum dedicated to the shepherds’life that will give you another vision of the valley, discover little mountain villages –one of which hosts a Romanesque church with contemporary art from New York–, and get in touch with the different flocks and herds that graze in the mountains.

Circular route through utterly beautiful paths, villages and landscapes characterized by a unique rusticity. On the way, you will stop in different villages to taste the typical gastronomy of the Valley and discover its cultures and traditions.
You will also visit the Shepherd Museum and Sant Victor Romanesque Pyrenean church, in Saurí, with its contemporary paintings.
