More than 200 hikers gathered in Rasiguères on Saturday May 25, 2019 for this 3rd edition of the Fête de la Rando et Mobilités Douces. This event was organized by the Communauté de Communes Agly-Fenouillèdes in collaboration with the Commune de Rasiguères, local and departmental associations of hikers, producers, artisans and tourism professionals of the territory.
This day allowed to highlight and discover the natural and cultural heritage of the territory through the practice of hiking (pedestrian, equestrian, mountain biking).
A total of 9 walks were organized and various topics of interest of the territory were discussed such as: the old iron mines of Rasiguères, the discovery of the vineyard, the discovery of useful foods and medicinal plants, the recent archaeological discoveries around the dam of Caramany , climate and geology …
In addition, to promote the exceptional flora and fauna of this territory, a conference on the Bonelli eagle was organized. The participants also enjoyed four exhibitions: one on orchids, one on Fenouillèdes landscapes, another on the Bonelli eagle and finally the exhibition of the Regional Natural Park of Fenouillèdes Corbières.
Hikers could discover new hiking techniques, such as electric bicycles and Skikes (Nordic skis with wheels). Producers, artisans and local associations celebrated the organized market for the Fête de la Rando.
